Everything guests ask us
The questions we hear every day, answered plainly. Anything else? Call us, or ask on Zalo.
- Is Naadi really 100% halal?
- Yes. Naadi is Hanoi's first fully halal Moroccan restaurant: every meat supplier is halal certified, and there is no pork and no alcohol anywhere - not in the kitchen, not in the dining room, not in any sauce. There is no separate halal line, because everything is halal. Certificates are displayed in the restaurant and available on request.
- Where exactly is the restaurant?
- At 33 P. Ngũ Xã on Trúc Bạch island, Ba Đình district, Hanoi - on the 2nd floor, above Let's Coffee. That's about ten minutes from the Old Quarter and right by West Lake.
- What are the opening hours?
- Wednesday to Monday, 11:30 to 22:30. We rest on Tuesdays.
- Do I need to book a table?
- Walk-ins are welcome when there is space, but evenings and weekends fill up. Booking takes thirty seconds on the reservations page, or call +84 362 838 701 (English, Arabic) / +84 975 562 622 (Vietnamese). The VIP salon and private events are always by reservation.
- Is there a prayer room?
- Yes - a dedicated prayer space inside the restaurant, rare in Hanoi. Ask any member of the team; it is yours whenever you need it.
- Do you deliver?
- Yes. Order Naadi on Grab for delivery across Hanoi - the order button is on every page of this site.
- When is couscous served?
- Couscous with vegetables is hand-steamed and served on Fridays from 13:00, as tradition demands. The sweet couscous tfaya is available every day.
- How much does a meal cost?
- Starters run 39-248k VND, mains 198-549k, sandwiches 59-128k, desserts 59-99k. A generous meal with mint tea usually lands around 250-400k per person; tagines and roasted chicken come with the traditional four-side set and Moroccan bread included.
- Are there vegetarian options?
- Plenty: harira soup, zaalouk, both couscous, the MaaQouda sandwich, salads and every dessert. The menu has a vegetarian filter, and the allergen guide lists every ingredient of every dish.
- I have a food allergy - can the kitchen adapt?
- Yes. The allergen guide publishes the full ingredient list of every dish. Tell us about your allergy when you book (or call ahead for severe allergies) and the kitchen prepares your table accordingly. Note that nuts, sesame, egg and gluten are handled in the same single kitchen.
- Can I book the VIP salon or privatize the restaurant?
- The VIP salon seats up to 10 guests, with no room fee for dinner bookings. For larger parties, the whole restaurant can be privatized - corporate dinners, embassy receptions, iftars, celebrations - and we also cater. Request a quote from the reservations page.
- What languages does the team speak?
- English and Arabic on +84 362 838 701, Vietnamese on +84 975 562 622 - and the menu is published in all three.
- Why is Naadi called "the third gate"?
- Moroccan soldiers who stayed in Vietnam after 1954 built a Moroccan gate in Ba Vì, outside Hanoi; near Kénitra in Morocco, a Vietnamese gate answers it. Naadi is the third gate: a Moroccan table built in Hanoi. The full story is on our story page.
